Erin C.: Favourite stay in Italy

The pictures do not do this apartment justice. From the moment you walk in the lobby you are left with a fabulous impression. The location of this apartment, really just cannot be beat. You can almost touch the ponte vecchio, you are so close to the restaurants and shops, and a 1min walk to a huge supermarket, full of everything you could need. The rooms are gorgeous including the living area, but the view... The view is just spectacular. It truly is jaw-dropping and we loved just watching the goings on on the river Arno. The rooms and baths were both a great size. The views as shown in the pictures from the bedroom and the living area are exactly as pictured. Incredible! Alessandra, the owner, was amazing to deal with, super friendly and full of good advice. We highly recommend a trip up to Piazzale Michelangelo for the most gorgeous view of Florence, if you're up for the climb to the top of the Duomo that's a gorgeous view too! The David is amazing and the best gelato is 2 bridges away, Ponte Alla Carraia, same side of the river... Amazing!! Do not hesitate to book this apartment!!

Christine: Wonderful!

The view of Ponte Vecchio from the apartment could not be better. The listing description is very accurate and the manager met us on time as promised. There is a private courtyard in the middle of the apartment which my children enjoyed. Borgo San Jacopo is the best street to stay in Florence in my opinion. Close to authentic restaurants and not as 'touristy' as the city centre. Would definitely stay again!

Melissa: Simply amazing

Wow. This apartment is absolutely amazing. I'm very sad to have had to leave, because I would like to stay there forever! The view of the Ponte Vecchio and the Arno river from the apartment are intoxicating. There is not a negative thing I can say about this place. It is well equiped, easy to find, reasonably priced, PERFECTLY located, and there was excellent communication with Alesandra before, during, and even after our visit. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment (except that I hope it is not so popular that it is booked next time I visit Florence). After staying here, I would not DREAM of staying anywhere else if I am fortunate enough to return to Florence. It really was a treasure.

Eric W.: Florence Apartment

We stayed at the Tradueponti -Old Bridge apartment what a wonderful apartment it was! Right in the heart of Florence with knockout views not only of Ponte Vecchio but also Palazzo Vecchio, etc., but on the less touristy side of the river in Santo Spirito with a much more local feel and flavor, but all the sights are just a short bridge walk away. Everything as advertised and more! Allessandra was always available and helpful, especially with wonderful restaurant and gelato recommendations! Right outside the door is a full service grocery with a full scale bakery and deli to get everything the cafes offer at a fraction of the cost. Everything in the apartment was roomy, secure and comfortable! I would strongly recommend the Old Bridge Apartment!

Suzanne P.: Great Home-Base for Exploring Florence

I chose this apartment due to its central location and proximity to a number of attractions including the Duomo, the Uffizi Gallery, and of course, the Ponte Vecchio. This apartment is just a stone's throw from the bridge! The view of the Arno river is spectacular and it's easy to peek out at the sunset on the tiny balcony in the dining/living room. The apartment is spacious and comfortable with reliable, fast wifi. It has a dining room table big enough to accommodate 6 guests comfortably. There's a comfortable couch, a leather reading chair and even a computer hooked up to a printer in case one needs to print tickets or boarding passes. There's a TV but we never used it! Don't forget to look at the art on the walls - they depict the view from the apartment as well as some drawings of the surrounding area after bombings during World War II! Adjoining the dining/living room is a bedroom and separate bathroom. The master bedroom contains a very comfortable queen-sized bed and a personal bathroom. This bedroom overlooks the street, but new windows and shutters make it so noise is not an issue. The kitchen is on the same side as the master bedroom. There is an easy-to-use microwave oven, a conventional oven, a sink, and a dishwasher. There are plates, bowls, glasses, wine glasses, coffee cups, and whatever utensils you might need, as well as cooking pots and pans. The washing machine is also in the kitchen. Luckily for us, the apartment can be kept relatively cool just by opening windows and the courtyard door. However, air conditioning may be necessary during summer nights, though electricity costs are high! Alessandra Gaito was very kind and provided detailed instructions as well as a helpful booklet about the apartment. She can also point out grocery stores which are cheap and convenient. I recommend this apartment highly and thank Ms. Gaito for a great stay!
